Cookies & storage.
This notice describes the storage used by the VENI guild website code. The site includes no analytics, advertising trackers, fingerprinting or embedded Discord widgets. Fonts and illustrations are served from this website's own host.
Your choice
Optional preference storage is off until you select “Accept preferences”. “Reject optional” keeps it off. You can use the whole site either way. Closing a page, scrolling or following a link does not give consent.
Open Cookie settings in the website footer at any time to change your choice or withdraw permission by selecting “Reject optional”. This removes the saved animation preference; your current on-screen animation setting remains usable for that visit.
What is stored?
The public landing page uses browser local storage. The members’ area additionally uses the necessary session cookie described below. Local storage is covered by similar device-storage rules. The values below stay in your browser and are not sent to us by the site code.

Unlike cookies, local storage has no automatic browser expiry. Our code stops using expired entries and removes them when you next visit. You can also delete site data in your browser at any time. If storage is blocked, your selections work for the current page only.
Members’ area
The members’ area uses veni_session, a necessary first-party session cookie for authentication and protection against forged form submissions. It does not require optional preference consent. Access expires after two hours of inactivity or twelve hours total. It is Secure on HTTPS, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax. See the member privacy notice for account and Discord sign-in information.
External links
Discord is an ordinary link. No connection to Discord is made by our page until you follow it. Discord then processes information under its own privacy and storage policies.
Hosting and contact
Delivering the website necessarily sends your IP address and request information to its hosting provider. Server logs, security services and any cookies added by the host are separate from the browser storage described above.
